The partial glyceride IMWITOR 308 is known to be multifunctional, acting as a co-emulsifier, solubilizing agent, dispersion adjuvant, plasticizer, lubricant consistency regulator, penetration enhancer, refatting agent, active ingredient carrier and as absorption promoter.
Because of its bacteriostatic properties IMWITOR 308 is able to support preservation systems.
